Mimosa collab

Fall Semester of 2023 I was tasked with partnering up with a classmate to create a clothing look that represented or captured the feeling or intention of a piece of jewelry from a local designer in Baton Rouge. We chose to model our looks after friendship bracelets, and this is our mood board. 

Incorporated thrifted fabrics and silhouettes that stand the test of time. The only thing I purchased for this look was hardware for overalls! (Due to it's sheer nature, I created a bra and boy shorts for my model out of scrap knit)

Had so much fun curating this shoot and creating a fun collection inspired by Mimosa's beautiful bronze and sterling jewelry

We created a social media statement that was harmonious with the rest of Mimosa's social media captions to try to bring awareness to their brand and these bracelets for the Holiday season.

One of my favorite parts was photographing my two best friends for this collection!! Below you can see how the suede overall set can be added for an extra layer of warmth and modesty. I think it adds an interesting texture and youth to the look. I also made some earrings to match her belt loops!

This "disco lanyard" dress was most recently worn by my sister for her rehearsal dinner! Reuse, reduce, recycle baby!
